As most of you know Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 was launched recently http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010/default.mspx.

I immediately started downloading it and thought now would be a good time to uninstall Beta 1…

During the uninstall process I got this error: “Setup is looking for file TFSObjectModel-x86_ENU.exe. Please locate this file or insert Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2010 Team Suite Beta 1 – ENU disk 1 now.”

I tried locating TFSObjectModel on my machine and the ISO – no such luck…I eventually noticed the application installed under Add or Remove Programs as Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010 Beta 1 Object Model – ENU. Removing it from here did the trick, I was able to uninstall Beta 1 just fine!
